HOW TO GET STARTED:

  1. Have a group of 10 or more? Please contact Shane Romain, Park Services Coordinator prior to the workday at (530) 896-7831 email:parkinfo@chicoca.gov
  2. Volunteers under 18 need to have a parent/guardian release form signed prior to work. Download: Volunteer Application
  3. Dress in layers for the weather and wear Closed-toed shoes; bring your own water bottle and work gloves if you have them.

Saturday, July 21st (8 to 11 am) Comanche Creek Greenway Cleanup  Meet at the CCG gravel parking lot (East Park Ave. at Midway).  Projects may include trash pickup, weeding, or whatever other work is highest priority on that day. Saturday, July 28st (9 to 11 am) Water Warriors, Tiechert Ponds Cleanup

Volunteers will meet in the parking lot behind Kohl's (1505) Springfield Dr. Come help cleanup and restore your communities waterways! Projects may include trash pickup, removing invasive plant species and maintaining native species.
Closed-toe shoes are required. Please bring a container for water. Event sponsored by the Butte Environmental Council.

Meet at Five Mile Picnic Area Parking Lot (Centennial Way) at 9AM. Free, and training is provided. Wear shoes and clothes that can get wet. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
