HOW TO GET STARTED:

  1. Have a group of 10 or more? Please contact Shane Romain, Park Services Coordinator prior to the workday at (530) 896-7831 email:parkinfo@chicoca.gov
  2. Volunteers under 18 need to have a parent/guardian release form signed prior to work. Download: Volunteer Application
  3. Dress in layers for the weather and wear Closed-toed shoes; bring your own water bottle and work gloves if you have them.

Please wear closed-toe shoes, bring a container for water, wear sunscreen and mosquito repellent as appropriate and bring gloves if possible. Long pants are recommended. Saturday, February 2nd (9 am to noon) Block Party With A Purpose

Meet with the Butte Environmetal Council (BEC) at Humboldt and Cypress Aves. to work on a cleanup of Little Chico Creek. Closed-toe shoes are required long pants are recommended. For more information contact Angel at 530-891-6424 or angel.gomez@becnet.org
