HOW TO GET STARTED:

  1. Have a group of 10 or more? Please contact Shane Romain, Park Services Coordinator prior to the workday at (530) 896-7831 email:parkinfo@chicoca.gov
  2. Volunteers under 18 need to have a parent/guardian release form signed prior to work. Download: Volunteer Application
  3. Dress in layers for the weather and wear Closed-toed shoes; bring your own water bottle and work gloves if you have them.

Have you have thought about volunteering in Chico's parks and greenways? Now is the perfect time to get involved! The City of Chico, Parks Division invites you to attend the annual spring volunteer orientation. There will be a overview of the Partners, Ambassadors, Leaders and Stewards (PALS) volunteer program and information presented by partner organizations that collaboratively care for Chico’s parks and greenways.
